The Challenge: Arlington had long been overshadowed by Washington DC and needed to step out on its own. The pandemic disrupted travel, and a new brand and strategy were essential to boost overnight visits and visitor spending.
The Insight: Arlington offers a unique blend of government, industry, and culture — a Trip Trifecta that none of its competitors can match. Audiences wanted it all, and Arlington delivered.
The Solution: Fuse conducted research to create a new brand identity and integrated marketing campaign, designed to drive awareness, interest & revenue.
What Changed: We revamped everything: logo, voice, and attitude, inviting visitors to dive into Arlington. With a focus on culture, government, and industry, we reached potential visitors, business travelers, and residents. The results speak for themselves: 678,000 website visits, 89% YoY increase in new users, 85M impressions (digital campaign), 14,855 hotel bookings, 234 flight bookings and 30,740 nights = $4M in revenue.
